ALIANZA AMERICANA LANGUAGE AND LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE is an educational institutions which offers personal development and training through all of its projects and programs. It began operations as a Language Center eighteen years ago in year 2001 in the city of León, Nicaragua, by the private initiative of Dr. Oscar Aragón and his wife J.J.D. Lic. Eira Argeñal.
Our main focus is to unleash people’s potential as local agents of change in an integral way guaranteeing our students and clients 100% quality in all our projects, services, courses and trainings, being administered with absolute professionalism without forgetting the human touch.
In order to ensure the best quality to all of our students and clients, ALIANZA AMERICANA LANGUAGE AND LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (AALLI) has established strategic alliances with international institutions/organizations and independent experts serving as consulters and trainers to our different training programs and projects. And it has also incorporated Network Marketing strategies to help build a platform to guarantee the fulfillment of its vision and mission.

As a result of these strategic alliances and the innovative features of our programs, Alianza Americana has developed a training method in which tangible results are evident to the public every time a prospective student comes into Alianza and asks to speak with a current student. For instance, in our English Program, they can see young students breaking through the barriers of communication after just three months of classes, beginning at the Basic Module. We can see students who are serving as tour guides, translators/interpreters and/or delegation coordinators after the completion of our 120 hour program (three months). We can also see students successfully being inserted in their job spots or being accepted to receive international scholarships to study their master’s degree after completing our intermediate programs.
Alianza Americana has developed a unique training method in which students are empowered to continue their language preparation with native English speakers sent by QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY or any other partnering organization. By the time our pupils begin studying under American teachers, English is not the only reason to attend a class, but also to build strong relationships, connections, and to learn about exiting cultural differences between Nicaragua and other parts of the world including The United States of America.
We continued our mission by creating a Spanish Course available to American students who come to work at ALIANZA AMERICANA and/or to every person interested in the Spanish Language in Leon, Latin culture or the Nicaraguan people. Taught with the same dedication that our English teachers offer our students, delegates from abroad are able to learn Spanish and about Nicaraguan culture in courses taught by true natives of the land, which will enrich the experience students have while living in our beautiful country. This is considered a perfect opportunity to enrich the arising tourist industry and it will be one of our main strengths and also it is what it will make us competitive. After 18 years we are considered first in the market for language schools in León, and cataloged by many as one of the best places to study English in Nicaragua. We possess national prestige and international recognition.
In partnership with Quinnipiac University and many other humanitarian organizations, ALIANZA AMERIANA LANGUAGE AND LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (AALLI) will one day house a service learning center in each country we are in where Quinnipiac University and other interested institutes around the world will have the ability to develop international study programs and service learning in many different areas of interest.
Alianza Americana has also come to the conclusion that promoting health/nutrition and well being values through all of its programs is an essential aspect for the mindset of true leadership and best practices.
